Cookbook Club

In Spring of 2023 my gal pals and I wanted to start hosting cute dinner parties with fun tablescapes. Because why not? What better way to accomplish this whilst also touching up on our cooking skills! So thus, we started our cookbook club. The premise is quite simple, you find a cookbook (purchase new, use what you have or scoop one at the thrift shop) and each person cooks a dish from each section - sometimes doubling up.

The 3rd and most recent Cookbook Club gathering, we ventured to my friends house, well it's actually called an earthship - look them up, they are really cool & completely self sustained! We invited the spouses to join for this one since some of them hadn't yet been out to the incredible property. Usually its just the girls though, so this was a rare occurrence, sorry not sorry!

Between courses we ventured outside, the fellas (& kelly) had to take a ride on the quad and we even visited her neighbours bounty of farm animals within walking distance. Our next cookbook club is in the works for June but with babies being born and pregnant friends, life's just gotten a little busy this season. Looking forward to our next CBC, thinking a floral-inspired summer brunch!
