Motherhood Sessions

Cheyenne messaged me asking if I was planning to do mother’s day mini sessions this year, and to my surprise I hadn’t even thought of it! It almost felt like it was too late to plan something for a larger group but I still wanted to make it happen for her & baby Jax.

I had another mom who wanted maternity photos so it worked out perfectly. I arranged 20 minute sessions for both moms at Sunday Ave Studio. It’s a hidden gem in St. Boniface, with white walls, white floors and the most perfect light that pours in all day long. I loved playing with the shadows, as you can see.

Cheyenne mentioned that baby Jax was exactly 6 months old on the day of our session! She wants to make it a tradition to do photos twice a year from now on, so she can have tangible memories of her first born. I of course told her “i’m SO in!” plus any chance to see his big blue eyes is a yes in my books!
