Countryside Wedding
Formerly middle school friends, I met these 2 when they started dating over 10 years ago. We reconnected when they *finally* got engaged and Renee inquired about capturing their wedding day. We got together and gabbed on the couch at my old apartment, she told me her vision - showed me photos of the soybean field where we’d be taking their sunset photos and caught up on the years that had passed.
Both of them have cabins out in Twin Lakes Beach and this place has been a huge part of their story, which is why they decided to get married there. The vibes were - axe throwing, lawn games, country livin’, folk fest aesthetic! It made the most sense to capture their engagement photos out at the cabin prior to the wedding. My husband and I spent a night with them, we even took a 3am longboard ride down the winding road lined with cabins along the beach. It was a magical weekend.
